It's been a very, very long month-and-a-half, and the fact that I have only a week left here is the only reassuring fact keeping me from going absolutely bat-wiggy, right now. As a testament to how angsty I've been feeling for the past few weeks, last night I almost posted a very... controversial journal post that probably had no business being posted, so I'm glad I didn't. But, it truly does go to show how spending this much time around my parents, and remembering the life I lived here for even just a short year and a half, is incredibly detrimental to my sanity.

But! Although I am feeling exceptionally down at the moment, I do have several things to keep in mind: in one week, I will be going home, to my not-so-brand new house -- but it is my own, as of Friday. I'll be going home to see my new family, and my wonderful puppy... And most importantly, I'll be going home to my amazing lover... And hopefully getting wedding plans underway for this July/August.

I'm looking forward to being busy, but at the same time, I have no idea when we'll have internet access back up. So, while I hope to get myself back into doing at least SOME artwork, you may not get to see it for a while. I hope it's not too long, though...

Though, I'm sure most of you understand how stress and lack of inspiration can take a toll on enthusiasm to do anything, especially to whip out drawings, so I don't really have any worries there. I do hope that all of you, my friends out there, from Mu*'s and beyond, are all doing well, and I send you the best of wishes, if it happens I don't get to be around for a while.
